This Saturday, I went to the Goat Farm Art Center with my mom to see a dance performance.

I figured Goat Farm was just a name. But you are on a farm. The center is an old cotton gin mill. The buildings have broken windows and wide doors. There’s no sidewalks, which means excessive tripping, falling, and skidding for this kid.

There were no bathrooms in our building so we went to a little coffeehouse/bookstore with a unisex bathroom that had a shower in it. We saw a female turkey running from her mate. Running turkeys sound like screeching cars.
The dance performance was lovely. I will definitely be going back to the Goat Farm Art Center (wearing hiking boots).

After, we had dessert at Cafe Intermezzo. I had the best peanut butter and chocolate cake. I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of it because I had finished by the time the thought came to me. I did, however, snap a photo of this phone booth.
What are the best quirky places in your town?
I’ll upload photos of what I wore for tomorrow’s post.
Love, sweeteelou
P.S. Sidewalks are for sissies.
